Room for a Man
A young filmmaker who shares a Beirut apartment with his mother, sister and pet dog sets about reconstructing his identity by renovating his bedroom. But as the male construction workers come and go in the freshly embattled household, new questions, old arguments and unexpected passions get stirred.

About The Director
Anthony Chidiac graduated from IESAV. His documentary “Equal Men” (33’) shot in Copenhagen was screened at Beirut Cinema Days. “Room for a Man” is his debut feature documentary. It was awarded the festival Grand Prize at RIDM 2017, the best film award at Queer Lisboa, and Hamburg International Queer festival 2018.
